THE PILOTS were formed by Phil Wilmott and Joe Rooney (formerly of The Experimental Pop Band) joining up with long time collaborator Mark Pope on keyboards. Prolific with with ideas from a wide range of influences, they put together a set of tracks, some as songs others instrumental with beats and keyboards. Looking to play live, they teamed up with singer John Bentley from Spoctet and soloist, giving his melodic and dark vocals to the songs. The combination is an exciting mix providing a driving and languid set.

FALLING DAN Elements of Nick Drake, The Shins and Big Star weave their way through tales of lost love, found love and the kind of love you can only talk about late at night with someone you don't love. Shades of Spoon coalesce with a Bright Phoebus explaining it's not really all about love. Sometimes it's about a tenacious struggle between the head and the heart; the resulting shit storms and dilemmas that leave us all unsatisfied and ecstatic in equal measure. Sometimes it's just about having a good time because this isn't a fucking rehearsal.
