**AURICULA EVENT MANAGEMENT PRESENTS***

~The Radio Makers~

We are the Radio Makers, a hard hitting alternative, pop quartet based in the Bristol area who have just followed the release of our debut EP 'Tune In' with the live Thunderbolt EP. We have bern playing in and around the south west for the past two years and recently played a sold out support with the legendary Blockheads to rave reviews.

We create a catchy brand of cross genre 'in your face' power pop which combines edgy guitars, funky bass-lines, driving drums snd catchy choruses to deliver a sound that has been likened to The Cure meets Bowie's Ziggy Stardust with early Tubeway army and Franz Ferdinand thrown in.

" a massive sound, totally #Indie and very cool"
"Poppy, rocky, fresh and interesting"
"You guys were EPIC"

~The Devils Avocados-
.
The Devils Avocados - a short biography
Spawned in the fires of the 90's "alternative movement", the avocados unique groove-rock sound is honed around the vocal, guitar and songwriting of "Laugh", veteran environmental campaigner and religiously recalcitrant rhyme miester of the good ship Avocado.

Laugh says., "a couple of us got together in the autumn of 2014 to put together some demo's, taking some of the original raucous acoustic songs I'd been doing round camp fires and ramping it up, 4/4 drums, pumping bass and growling/wailing guitar.... The demo's were great, ... and the reaction we got when we put a few on soundcloud !!!. So, the obvious thing to do was find the rest of the band and get the hell out there!".

Joining him on the crew are ex "Big Squid" guitarist Bran Pick, The Bassman Evan Santos-Shaw and the irrepressible JJ on drums.

The current live set includes fire-side classics like "Space Man" and "Dinosaur" (Lincoln punks "Shanarchy" do a great cover) alongside newer material like the pulsing peace chant "We're All Human" and the monster doom-rock of "Superbugs".

Since their inception in the autumn of 2014 the All New Electric Avocados have grown into a formidable force, tight and well rehearsed, gigging since October 2015, just released their first album, great songs, growing profile, heading to a festival or venue near you.

4 piece Alternative rock, combining a dynamic sound of ambient soundscapes & melodic guitar riffs with aggression

~The Sky Is Blue~

The Sky Is Blue is a musical project centred on the songwriting of multi-instrumentalist Jon Rees. The acoustic version of The Sky Is Blue mixes fragile song writing with electronic, experimental and minimalist influences. The songs are unified by a preoccupation with themes such as the passing of time, and the constant pursuit of equilibrium against the intangible need for something better

~Hamartia~

Hamartia are a melodic Alternative Rock band from Cornwall, now relocated in Bristol. The group exude originality through fearless energy, and driving melodies to keep listeners on their toes.
Inspired by bands such as Bring Me The Horizon, Underoath, Paramore and Lower Than Atlantis, the aim is to mould the aggressive, biting chord progressions with intricately soaring vocal melodies and the occasional vivid synth wizardry. Thunderous drum grooves and forthright basslines pull this all together to create a uniquely visceral sound.
Having played prestigious venues such as Falmouth’s 'Princess Pavilion' and more recently Bristol’s ‘Exchange', Hamartia are known to lure rooms full of people into their world of catchy, yet heavy brand of alternative rock with a vice-like grip.
Hamartia have played alongside many promising bands on the UK alternative circuit including Elessar UK, All Ears Avow, For The Oracle and Hypophora.
