The Men They Couldn’t Hang are a British rock band whose mixture of folk and punk is totally infectious. They are still as good as ever after over 30 years of raising hope, hackles and hellfire through the street corners and country lanes of Britain and beyond! Coming together as penniless buskers they played their first show in Camden Town in 1984 alongside the legendary Pogues as both an accident and a laugh – a philosophy that still holds true a lot of the time. Their music is not dissimilar in many ways. Added to that earthy humour and vitality has grown an explosive collision of folk and rock and an implacable social conscience that has seen them thrill and inspire 3 generations of concert goers with their euphoric blend of material.

LONELY TOURIST: Lonely Tourist's music has been played on the radio a fair bit. Steve Lamacq had him in for a session in 2016. Gideon Coe, Chris Hawkins, Tom Robinson and Cerys Matthews and others have all played it as well as BBC Scotland (2017 single Luxury Coach was single of the week on Janice Forsyth's show on Radio Scotland) and BBC Intro West seem keen too.
He has supported Pete Doherty, Malcolm Middleton, Rachel Sermanni, Admiral Fallow, Beth Hart, Dark Dark Dark, Hans Chew and played Rockness, Wychwood Festival, 2000 Trees, Vegfest, Dot to Dot, Bristol Harbour Festival.

THE LONELY TOURIST: Bristol based Glaswegian singer-songwriter. He has played all over the UK and Europe and supported amongst others Pete Doherty, Babyshambles, Malcolm Middleton, RM Hubbert, Jimbob (Carter) and legends Chas & Dave (RIP Chas).
His four albums (as at 2019) have been played on numerous BBC 6music radio shows, BBC Intro and Radio Scotland. In 2018 Steve Lamacq chose Ballad of Paul Tierney as one of his 25 for 25 (his choice of favourite 25 songs in 25 years in radio).
