LENSMEN: quintet are dark and atmospheric. Formed in Stroud Gloucestershire in 2016 their explorations of the passions draw influences from post punk, new wave and psychedelia.
They have been likened to Magazine, Bauhaus, Joy Division, The Sisters of Mercy and Nick Cave with momentary lapses into Richard Hawley, Tindersticks and Radio/Motor/Portis-head.

Drawing on themes of death, dying and property speculationthey provide a soundtrack to our lives and its passing. Alternating between hard and soft, quiet and loud, Lensmen tell the stories that bind us all together. Lensmen will be playing Glastonbury 2019.

BRUTAL WOUNDS - Tim Kirby (Diatribe/The Loveless/The Cabal, Andy Curry (Hidden Bloom) and Jim Johnston (Monk & Canatella/Hexit) have come together to set alight the funeral pyre of 80’s and 90’s Indie. Savage baselines, crashing guitar and drums like thunder overlaid with the resolute hostile angst of Tim Kirby’s vocals recall the halcyon days of the 4 minute warning, the Miners strike and the poll tax riots.  BRUTAL WOUNDS are here to testify that nothing much has changed.’

CORMORANTS:unky with a warm romantic streak

"Punky...but warm...romantic"
The Cormorants are Ellie Morgan and Wolfgang Küchler. We are a bit shaggy but manage to fish up some nourishment from the heart of our city. All songs written by Wolfgang Küchler unless stated otherwise (eg "cover") and arranged by WK and Ellie Morgan. The ruff singin is mostly WK, the lead guitar all EM.
